Color Palette Generator — User Manual

Overview

This tool helps you generate harmonious color palettes for UI, branding, and graphics. Choose a scheme, set the number of colors, lock favorites, shuffle the rest, copy hex codes, save palettes, and download them as PNG images.

Quick start

• Pick scheme: Choose Pastel, Vibrant, Analogous, Complementary, Triadic, Split, Tetradic, Square, Warm, Cool, Earthy, Neon, Grayscale, Tints, Shades.
• Set count: Select 3–10 colors.
• Generate: Click Generate for a fresh palette.
• Refine: Lock any swatch, then Shuffle to change only unlocked ones.
• Copy: Click a swatch hex or use “Copy all hex.”
• Save: Save palettes locally in your browser.
• Download PNG: Export the palette as a horizontal image strip.

Tips

• Accessibility: Check text contrast on your real UI backgrounds.
• Brand anchors: Lock 1–2 signature colors; shuffle complements around them.
• Export flow: Use PNG for sharing, hex for CSS variables.
